Card Counting Strategy!

Millin

You're playing Baccarat and have been keeping track of the cards that have been played. You notice that there are a disproportionately large number of high cards (Kings, Queens, Jacks) remaining in the shoe. How should you adjust your betting strategy to take advantage of this situation?"

My explanation on this is "Increase your bets on the Banker, since the high cards favor the Banker's chances of winning. This explains, In Baccarat, high cards tend to favor the Banker's chances of winning, since the Banker's hand is typically stronger when there are more high cards in the deck. Therefore, when there are a disproportionately large number of high cards remaining in the shoe, it's beneficial to increase your bets on the Banker. This is because the Banker's chances of winning are higher compared to other bets, such as the Player or the Tie."

How about you guys? Do you agree that card counting strategy is effective?

Yes, I agree that card counting can be an effective strategy in Baccarat, especially when combined with basic strategy. In the case you described, where there are a disproportionately large number of high cards remaining in the shoe, increasing your bets on the Banker makes sense. Since the Banker's hand is typically stronger when there are more high cards in the deck, the increased presence of high cards increases the likelihood of the Banker winning. By betting more on the Banker in this scenario, you're taking advantage of the improved odds and potentially increasing your expected value.

To maximize your returns, you need to combine card counting with basic strategy, which involves making optimal decisions based on the current state of the game. For example, if the count favors the Player, you should still make the standard Player bet instead of deviating from basic strategy just because of the count. It's important to note that card counting alone does not guarantee success. It's essential to set appropriate bet sizes, stop-loss limits, and win goals to minimize risk and optimize profitability.

I totally agree,   baccarat card counting can also be a very effective tool. Because baccarat is dealt from a shoe, it makes sense that the odds for each bet type will change as the cards are dealt and by tracking the cards, it is possible to place a bet in baccarat with an edge over the house. Plus counting cards in Baccarat is a piece of cake! You don't even have to memorize any cards. All you gotta do is some basic math!

My opinion is there is no known way to beat it so for me counting cards is not working , in the short term you may win or you may lose, and there is no way to predict or capitalize on these. In the long run the house will always win. Your best strategy is to trust your luck... and as far as I know the counting card is only in blackjack and not in baccarat. I don't want to be too bitter about this topic, but maybe so  card counting can be an effective strategy for skilled players

n my opinion, casinos are aware of card counting strategies and take measures to prevent or discourage their use. They may shuffle the cards more frequently, introduce more decks, or implement other countermeasures to maintain the randomness of the game. While it's interesting to keep track of the cards and adjust your bets accordingly, it's hard not to overestimate the reliability or effectiveness of such strategies. Responsible gambling focuses on enjoying the game for entertainment purposes rather than relying on specific tactics that may not consistently yield positive results in the long run.

Yes, I agree that card counting can be an effective strategy in Baccarat, especially when combined with other strategies such as observing the shoe and identifying patterns. By tracking the cards that have been played, you can gain an edge over the house by adjusting your bets according to the remaining cards in the shoe.

Your explanation is accurate. Increasing bets on the Banker when there's a disproportionate number of high cards is a sound strategy in Baccarat. High cards favor the Banker's hand. However, it's important to note that card counting is less effective in Baccarat compared to games like blackjack, as the shoe is often shuffled, and counting opportunities are limited. While some may find it effective to some extent, it's not as reliable as in other card games.
