Drink oral rehydration solutions, clean water, coconut water, and clear broths frequently in small sips. Avoid caffeine, alcohol, and sugary drinks that worsen fluid loss. Eat light foods like rice, bananas, and toast. Monitor urine color and frequency as hydration indicators. In some cases, medications like nitazoxanide 500mg may be prescribed to treat underlying infections, but hydration remains the primary focus.
