MMOEXP GTA 6:Do You Think GTA VI Will Have a Bigfoot Too?

Damnmy

Whether Grand Theft Auto VI will include a Bigfoot-like creature has become one of the GTA 6 Items franchise’s most fun fan debates — and judging by Rockstar’s history, it’s not an outlandish idea at all.

For decades, fans of the Grand Theft Auto series have chased cryptids, Easter eggs, and all sorts of oddities hidden in Rockstar’s sprawling open worlds. One of the most persistent myths across multiple titles has been that of Bigfoot — a legendary ape‑like creature from North American folklore. In Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, rumors spread for years that an actual Sasquatch could be found roaming the woods, although Rockstar confirmed it didn’t exist in that game. The myth endured anyway, partly because players wanted it to be real more than anything else.

Rockstar eventually leaned into the joke in Grand Theft Auto V. In that game, an in‑story hunter character references Bigfoot, there’s a disguise costume available in GTA Online, and through consuming a peyote plant under very specific conditions, players can even transform into a Sasquatch character model in Director Mode — though it’s not part of the canonical story itself.

That legacy has left the community wondering: will GTA VI continue the tradition of cryptid Easter eggs? So far, speculation and early leaks suggest something similar is at least possible. Many players on fan forums believe Rockstar could introduce a creature inspired by local lore — not necessarily the classic Bigfoot, but perhaps a skunk ape variant given the game’s Florida‑like setting. The skunk ape is essentially the Southern U.S. version of Bigfoot, and several community posters argue that it fits better with GTA VI’s environment and tone.

This theory isn’t just wishful thinking. Leaks and fan interpretations of early data have mentioned world events or swamp creature encounters that resemble skunk ape lore. These aren’t confirmed by Rockstar, but the idea has excited many fans who want unexplained encounters in the Everglades‑style regions of the game.

Another reason players hope for a cryptid in GTA VI is Rockstar’s track record with Easter eggs. The studio has built a reputation for hiding subtle, bizarre, and sometimes spooky surprises — UFOs, ghosts, and otherworldly references have all appeared in various titles to date. That tradition makes a cryptid cameo feel like a natural continuation rather than just fan service.

Still, it’s important to remember this remains speculation. Rockstar has not officially confirmed any specific cryptid content in GTA VI. Until the game launches, we only have fan theories, leaks of unknown reliability, and the franchise’s history to guide our expectations.

So, will GTA VI have a Bigfoot? The short answer is: maybe — but it’s more likely to be a  cheap GTA VI Items variant like a skunk ape or swamp creature suited to the game’s setting rather than the classic Pacific Northwest Sasquatch. Whether it’s a genuine elusive monster, a quirky Easter egg, or just a rumor woven into fan imagination, the idea adds an extra layer of mystery and excitement as players anticipate one of the biggest game releases in years.
