This is going to sound ridiculous but I was driving to ICAD last Thursday and the whole headliner just dropped onto my head, I had to hold it up with one hand while steering with the other, absolute chaos. Now I'm stuck because I don't want to spend a fortune at a dealership and I also don't want some random guy gluing fabric back with contact adhesive that falls off in two weeks. A friend of a friend mentioned there's a trusted auto interior refurbishment near ICAD that handles headliners, seats, door panels, basically the whole cabin, and apparently they strip it down properly instead of patching things up. But before I commit I want to hear from anyone who's actually had this done. How long did it take, did the glue smell linger, and did the color match hold up after a summer? I'm honestly tempted to just leave it but it's driving me crazy every single morning.
