Shani's Fragmented Logs can feel a lot rougher than it sounds, especially once you step into Stella Montis with a bag full of hope and half a plan. This isn't one of those quests where you can just clear a room and brute-force the rest. It's more about moving smart, staying patient, and making sure you brought the one item that actually matters. Before anything else, pack an Electrical Component. No shortcut there. It gets used the second you repair the first terminal, so if you lose it on the way in, your run's basically cooked. Start at the Sandbox

Your first objective is in the Robotic Sandbox control section. There are two mirrored routes, so you might reach room A or room B first, but that part doesn't really matter. Sounds simple, but this part catches people out all the time because ARC patrols pass through the nearby hallways in tight cycles. If you push in at the wrong moment, you can get trapped in a tiny room with nowhere to break line of sight. Best play is to wait, listen, and go only when the route is clear.

The Risky Run to the Archives

The third step sends you east into the Cultural Archives backrooms, and this is where the pressure really ramps up. The place draws trouble. Heavy ARC presence, geared players, random third parties, all of it. You're looking for a tucked-away terminal room where you can bring the data system back online. The interaction itself isn't hard, but standing still in that zone feels awful because you know someone could swing the corner at any second. If you've made it this far, resist the urge to fight every threat you spot. Most failed attempts happen because someone gets greedy, takes a noisy fight, and turns the whole wing against them.

What Makes the Quest Worth Doing

Once the final terminal is activated, you'll get the quest rewards locked in, including three Showstoppers and three Trailblazers, which are genuinely useful later in Flashpoint. One nice thing is that you don't need to extract for the progress to count, so the mission doesn't feel quite as punishing as it could have. Still, dying during an interaction or before the sequence finishes will waste your time, so careful routing is everything.
